I decided to put the histories of my conversations together and some of my unvoiced opinions here to give you a chance to evaluate which one you want to play more.
Well, I was quite the avid Defense of the Ancients player until I slowly transitioned into playing mostly Heroes of Newerth now. Interestingly, most of them have a lot of experience in one and not very much in the other, and argue for why the one they play is “better, at least for me”. This is a topic a lot of people talk to me about often.
